Yes go to sears parts center and buy the ice maker part # 4317943 thats if the ice maker is in line is leaking because the mold inside is peeling off due to the wtr being to hard repl ice maker is realy easy loosen screws remove harness and repl new one that is all you might not need all parts in box

What would cause my Kenmore Coldspot ice dispenser to freeze up where the water enters from the tubing into the ice maker itself?

Small leak in the tubing. remove ice-maker, cut tubing about half an inch back and reconnect ensuring the tubing is completely on the ice-maker.

Ice maker in kenmore coldspot refrigerator quit making ice, nowater flow

There are several causes of no ice maker operation. First, is the freezer cold enough? It must be below 32F to operate the icemaker. 2nd: Is the bale or metal rod that runs along the side of the ice maker in the down position? 3rd: You may have a failed water solenoid valve, located on the back of the unit. The plastic or copper water line from your house's water supply is attached to this valve.

Timer ice maker kenmore side

If the timer piece you are referring to is behind the square white cover, and it's moving slightly back and forth, you should visually check the ice making area it's self to see if the ejector fingers are jammed with ice, or against the ice stripper. Ice Maker jams can be caused by reduced water pressure to the unit mainly from the water filter, your water filter in the toe kick should be replaced at an interval of 6 months to a year, regardless of filter status light. When water pressure is low, not enough water fills the unit and the undersized cubes can become lodged or stuck in the ice maker while being ejected, equally so if there is an over fill situation caused by other failures the ice maker can't eject at all. Kenmore coldspot model 106 9445781 the icemaker motor makes loud noise. Sounds like its under a heavy load.

Suggest you take the ice maker out and defrost it. You propably have ice crystal buildup and causing it to labor harder.

Kenmore Coldspot Ice Maker Modle #106 56622500 I

these have to be in correctly to lock back in and allow the unit to function. Try removing the bin again and be sure there isn't any small pieces of ice trapped anywhere. Also make sure there aren't any broken pieces from the bin. Hope this helps. Good luck.
