SOURCE: My Canon Laser Class 7000 has a problem on the

Easy one. This unit has several parts in the automatic document feeder (aka ADF) that simply wear out. As far as I know the parts are still availble from a reputable canon repair center. The lower feed assy is the most likely contributer to your issues. This is sold as an entire assy. Not exactly for the faint of screwdriver. Should be done by a skilled tech.
Good luck

SOURCE: I have a Canon Laser

It is definitely possible to print the fax, do you have this machine attached to a computer in any way, possibly through the network? I am trying to locate the manual for this unit but am unable to do so. I know it's possible to go into the menu and force it to print faxes from memory. Whatever the fax is that was received was of an unusual size that won't fit onto either size paper you have in the machine.

Let me know if you have it attached to a PC...

Do you know who you received the fax from? Could they refax it to another number? Possibly email it in? Just curious, it may be a much easier solution.

Thanks, let me know,
Tim

Rec paper jam is shown on the machine but we can't find a paper jam any where. Our machine is a Canon Laser Class 8500. Any suggestions?

Open and close all doors and trays, making sure that there are no jams, and that nothing is caught in the paper feeder. Unplug the machine, and press the power switch for at least 5 seconds. Plug the machine back in and power up.

Paper jammed at exit rollers of Canon D860. Paper

If you remove the plastic covers on that side of the printer, you will see a small screw holding a bar against the rollers. Set the printer on end so you can remove this screw with out dropping it into the printer, and then the rollers will be loose enough that you can get the paper out.

Paper Jam but no papaer found Canon Image Class D860

Have you checked that the paper path is clean and free of paper fragments which sometimes get jammed in the sensors? Try blowing them with a compressed air bottle.

Our canon laser fax 1060p receives faxes fine but send out a total black page (also the copy function is a total black page)

No power/failed contact image sensor. If under contract get replaced. It is poss. that a "standard white setting adj." could fix it, but doubtful with a black copy. -Carl

I just changed the cartridge in the canon laser class 1060P and now all the faxes are coming out black. It looks like I took the toner and spread it out on the page. The manual does not help me fix this...

Ok just cause you put in a NEW CARTRIDGE DOESN'T mean it was a good one, if your getting black pages this tells me that tour toner is getting no charge, this tells me that your charge roller isn't charging, either your cartidge is no good, yup= this could be defective or your charging unit on your printer become defective- replace ctg first, if it doesn't correct it then CALL FOR SERVICE, r u in Ct if so we can help you !!!!!

Error 002 with Canon image class MF 8180 C

I usually open the back cover, top cover, cartridge cover and pull out the paper tray. Sometimes this clears the alarm, if this does not clear the alarm, I unplug the printer for a couple minutes. Between opening and closing the covers and unpluging the printer, the alarm goes away. Ray
