How do I connect my K7 to a 1394 socket

Hi,

Your Pentax K7 lacks firewire (1394) connectivity, so a connection to a fireware jack will not be possible without purchasing an inexpensive Firewire to USB adapter . From the manual:

Available Ports:

  • USB 2.0 hi-speed, AV out, HDMI out, DC in, cable switch, 3.5mm stereo microphone.
  • Video out: HD (1080i30, 720p30, 480p30), NTSC, PAL
  • Printer interfaces: n/a

You can connect a USB cable from the "PC/AV" on the camera to your computer's USB port with an appropriate cable to transfer image files for editing, etc. Additionally, you can send video directly to a TV with an appropriate cable via the camera's HDMI jack.

I hope this helps!

Who to do set up for wii game

  1. The AV Multi Out plug that is included with the Wii will allow you to connect the console to most TVs or VRCs. First, look at the back of your television AND your VCR and see if you have colored holes label "Input". Though most TVs have them, almost all VCRs do as well. If you are unable to find a set of yellow, red, and white AV inputs on the back of your TV, try looking on the sides, top, and bottom of the TV. Look for any hidden panels or doors as well.

    Connecting to a Television
    • Audio/Video (AV) inputs are typically located on the back of the TV, but occassionally are on the sides, top, or bottom.
    • Look for inputs marked Audio and Video IN.
    • Do NOT connect your system to anything marked OUT.
    • Don't see these inputs on your TV? Click here.

    1. Insert the AV Multi Out plug on the Wii AV Cable into the AV Multi Out connector on the back of the console

  2. Insert the DC plug on the Wii AC Adapter cord into the DC Input connector on the back of the Wii console.

  3. Insert the AC plug into a 120V AC wall outlet

CAUTION: To prevent electric shock, match the wide blade of the plug to the wide slot and insert fully into the outlet.

  1. Plug the transformer into the wall outlet.

The Sensor Bar can be placed either above or below your TV screen. Decide which option best fits you and click the image below for additional set up help, including mounting the Sensor Bar and proper alignment.

INeed av cable for Trutech 7? Dual-Screen Portable DVD Player

Okay, I just had to replace both the DC power and a/v cable for this Trutech DVD player and here is the solution. The a/v cable is a 4 pole 3.5mm cable, which I found here: http://www.techcables.com/6-ft-3-5mm-4-pole-mini-av-to-mini-av-camcorder-a-v-cable-p-36.html I went to Radio Shack and bought the coax style DC power plug ends which were size B and soldered new ends onto the old power cable, tip to tip, sleeve to sleeve: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102598

Connecting intec gamecube screen

The Intec Gamecube screen requires both a 12 volt DC input and the AV input. The larger connection is the AV cable which plugs into the back of the Gamecube console. The smaller round cable is the 12 volt DC input cable that goes to the power source for your screen. The solution is to either get the original splitter cable that splits the DC power to the screen and the Gamecube, or use separate 12 v DC inputs for each device. These original Intec splitter cables are rare and are not cheap, and the only place I have found them for sale is at the NES Repair Shop:

The only other solution is having separate 12 v input cables for the screen and the Gamecube. And finding the right size (very small) is also a task.
