SOURCE: need installation instructions for mavic wintech

Here's where having a good relationship with your local shop comes in REAL handy. Ask 'em if you can look at the instructions in one of their wintechs. If you're lucky, you might even be able to make a copy. Of course, your shop has to carry your model.

Good luck.

SOURCE: cant put my mavic back together properly

It sounds like you lost the washer that sits between the bearing in the nose and the freehub bearing. If you lose that washer, when you re-tighten the axle, the two bearings will bind and prevent the freewheel from spinning easily.

Take your freehub off again and see if that washer is there. If it isn't, you'll have to get a new one and replace it. It's easy to lose that thing if you don't know it's there when you take the wheel apart, because it'll just fall out.

When I reassemble those wheels. I thread the drive-side axle through the freehub body, then place the washer over the axle on the inside of the bearing, then thread the axle through the nose.

Also note that if your freehub seemed loose, it probably needs to be replaced. The FTS-L freehub body used on the Ksyrium wheels uses a nylon bushing as the friction interface to the nose, and this bushing wears down over time even with good lubrication.

Hi, Edurado for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. Hi, I'm looking for a manual for my Blackburn Neuro 5 cyclometer? There used to be an online source but it's gone, not sure what to do?

email the source to put it back up or send you a copy. If the source is gone try the manufacturer's website. If that's gone try typeing "Blackburn Neuro 5 cyclometer manual" in your search engine. If that doesn't work try a different search engine. there's a bounch out there and they're all different.

Wintech HR wireless computer purchased last year but never opened the box until last week to install on my new bike. Display was blank, so I installed new 2032 battery but the display still doesn't turn...

Look at your manual for a troubleshooting guide, there usually is a reset on them. But, if all else fails, call the dealer you bought it from and maybe they have an idea what the problem is. At my store I try to keep a copy of the manuals to be able to help the customer out, but I unfortunately do not carry Mavic computers, only their wheels. I am attending the largest dealer bike show in Las Vegas tomorrow and I will talk to Mavic there and ask if anyone has an answer. This is a huge show and I will not be back until Saturday. And will let you know.

Lost my manual for Mavic Wintech HR computer. How

You may want to just go to http://www.mavic.com - I don't see anything but catalogs for download there, but they may be able to provide you with a manual.

Ow do you changes from kilometers to miles and where do I get an operator's manual in English?

To change kilometers to miles, divide the number of kilometers by 1.609. To change miles into kilometers, multiply the number of miles by 1.609.

For mavic manuals, go to http://www.tech-mavic.com after you check out this link from Serotta:
