I hear echo sound every time i play music/movie and i cant figure out to turn it off "how"

Does it happen with headphones in as well? If not, do you have a built-in-microphone? Sometimes the sound coming of the speakers can be picked up by the microphone, resulting in an echo sound. Make sure that the microphone is off (or test it by covering it up while playing some music), and quit out of any applications that are using it.
If you hear it in the headphones as well, it could be a sound card problem, which means it would need replacing. If you don't hear it in the headphones, but hear it in the speakers and don't have a mic, it's either your speakers, or (more likely) your computer just doesn't get along with whatever software you're using to play movies/music.

First i was having issues with the sounds blotching out and now im having terrible feedback problems. When the active noise cancelling is on the speakers sound off ear piercing pitch! what do i do?

I would recommend that you do not plug in noise cancelling headphones to the jacks ON your speakers. Plug it in directly to your source and you should not face this problem.

Stereo receiver: headphones work but speakers don't

This could be either a fault on the headphone socket itself, or on a speaker switch. It depends on how the insertion of the jack plug into the socket affected the sound before the fault. If for example the sound was cut off from the speakers, then it's likely the fault is the socket itself.
On the other hand if you have to press a button to switch the speakers off the fault will be connected with the that button.

A6700y HP PC sound is tinny echo. I've adjusted all settings, changed speakers, won't correct problem.

Maybe your microphone is on and giving feedack of what it hears. Try disconnecting it and let us know what it did. Also once a pair of headphones ( believe or not ) cted like weak microphones. When you tapped them, big speakers made the sound. There was a dual plug for both large speakers and headphones to be connected to the green sound out. Anyway, tell us what it did after you disconnected the mic.

Sound problems

If you are very sure that sound is just coming from headphones only...then surely some internal wiring of laptop speakers got damaged or shorted... in such case don't try to repair it yourself... take help of a professional...rate this solution if it really helped you...

Sound echo

I found that the best way to avoid this problem is to mute the television speakers or, if you can, turn off the speakers. There seems to be a very brief delay between TV and theater speakers, causing what sounds like an echo. hope this helps.
