There is a possibility that your earphones need cleaning. Take off the tips and gently brush the metallic mesh with some cloth. Then dip each earpiece into drop of alcohol (you need to dip mesh only, not the whole earpiece). Then wipe it clean with cotton bud or something similar. Next, dip your earpieces the same way into drop of hydrogen peroxide and leave them there for few minutes. After that, wipe them again.
I used this method on my ie8 and it really helped.

Thanks for posting this solution. After 3.5 (!) years of medium to heavy usage the volume of the left earpiece "suddenly" dropped in its volume output

... using your cleaning method (soak in vodka , soak in vodka + a few drops of hydrogen peroxide, wash in vodka, drying with hair dryer) seemed to have fixed the problem. Awesome!

Ring in the engine at about 60mph,getting louder.

Hi, Richard I would love to help you with your engine or chassis noise but I just loaned my brand new pair of listening ears to your local dealer's chief technician so he could take your bike for a test ride and give you his professional opinion and estimate about your noise and repair cost. Good luck and have nice a day.

The sound is weak. The max. Volumn is very weak. How can I get it louder.

In general, tablets don't have powerful sound systems. Some ear-buds will play louder than others, but don't expect any built-in speaker to play loudly. Try different ear-buds, that may help, or an external "amplifier".

What is the safety limit in decibels before hearing is damaged by loud music?

85 decibels is the generally accepted limit for 8 hours of exposure per day (you have to give your ears time to rest in between).
At 91 decibels you have about 2 hours before suffering damage.
At 100 decibels, it's about 15 minutes of safe time, and immediate damage (no safe duration) can occur at around 140 decibels (about as loud as a jet engine or firecracker).

The important thing to note about volume and ear safety is that you have to rest your ears (i.e. nothing too much louder than a conversation) for the rest of the day to avoid risking damage. That means that after 2 hours at 91 decibels, you need to rest your ears for 22 hours before these guidelines can apply again.

Many bands play shows at around 100 decibels, so invest in some HearOs or other decent protection.

The left ear is louder and much clearer than the right ear

Tried the knife, made it 10% better but no wax to clean, bc a small rubber circle is under the net... 3 good hard plucks made mine work again. Don't be afraid to pluck it hard, I tried it before softer, which didn't work initially. Reassemble, twist it's neck counter clockwise (right ear) and pluck HARD.

Heater vents close and it sounds like blower motor gets louder when passing gear is used

You most likely have a vacuum line leak -- could be in a hose run to the vacuum motors which operate the duct doors or various other places. Vacuum drops off when engine is rapidly accelerated which reduces the vacuum the heating system motors receive. The blower motor seems to get louder because the closing of the doors provides the sound of the motor a different (more open) path to your ears.
