Question about HTC PPC-6800 Smartphone
I bought the htc 6800 smartphone used from a wireless toys store. everything is working but the net. the old owners info is still on the phone and i cant get my info on it. the store gave me thegetting started disc, but when i try to re-install, it keeps saying error.
Well the easiest way to start with a clean device is to perform a "Hard Reset".. This resets the phone back to the way it was when it came from the factory. It restores the Operating System BUT it deletes all the info YOU and the previous owner have put on. So before doing a hard reset move anything you want saved onto your PC. If there is nothing vital then go to:
Start>Settings>System(tab)> and click on clear storage.
All previous wifi and network settings will be removed. (All customisation and programs installed by you or the previous owner will also be removed)
If you need assistance in inputting the new settings then I suggest joining a support forum like www.xda-developers.com or Modaco etc.
Your HTC is also known as the Mogul or the Titan so on the forums it may be listed under these names.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
