Question about Ovens
T's for a Thermador MSC224 electric oven and the part is 14-39-030. Bosch made a replacement Part Number: AP2832670, but that also has been discontinued. Another Bosch part number is 415241, and that also is discontinued. Can you provide any of those or some other replacement. The part is called a PULSER and it's function is to keep the oven being cleaned from going over about 1000 degrees.

usually it is the thermal cut off( TCO) ,a kind of themal fuse which goes out if the temp exceeds certain limit and cuts off the power to the elemnts.it is to protect the cavity from over heating.it needs to replaced or reset depending the model. u will need a tech to fix this.

Hello George, welcome to fixya.
The symptoms you describe are a common occurrence when the hi-limit has tripped. This typically occur's following a self clean cycle. The display will indicate the oven is indeed "on" but it will not heat do to the circuit being interrupted by the hi-limit ( which is what it was designed to do ).
Fortunately if it is tripped, they are the manual reset type and are accessible behind the black grill/vent just above the door and just below the control panel next to the lock latch assembly. **Turn off the 40amp breaker at your service panel or sub-panel in the home before attempting any service...safety first**
With the power off, you should be able to remove the grill and push the red button in the center of the thermostat and that should fix your problem...if indeed the hi-limit is tripped you`ll know immediately because you`ll feel it click as you push it down. It will look like the image below...
Let me know if I can assist you further. If this solves your problem please rate the solution accordingly, if not let me know and I`ll try to guide you through other possible scenario`s.
Thanks for visiting "fixya" and good luck.

SOURCE: thermador oven parts
I have a Thermador oven where the inside window glass is broken. Are there any parts available for a

FixYa itself cannot supply parts. IF you have a confirmed source for the switch you should grab it. Unless a local appliance repair shop can supply it you may have to order from UPS. I would talk to them and confirm if they have the part or not. Usually when a part is discontinued it means it is no longer being produced or stocked. So if they have stock that is all there is available in their system. The older a appliance gets the smaller the variety of spare parts available. At the end they will only have parts that are guaranteed to need replacement or parts they never have sold ie dead stock. Phone:

Aside from local shops if you have any you can contact Thermador who are in California.
They will be able to tell you if they have the switch or which distributor or repair shop might have one.
