SOURCE: Error code F3 on Kenmore 911.4658815 electric range

The oven temp. sensor has gone bad.  Replace it and that will solve your problem.  The part # is WB21X5301 and cost is $73.49.  Can purchase at http://www3.sears.com/.  You can view the image at http://www3.sears.com/imaging/ImagePageJava.shtml?productTypeID=0124160&brandID=0582&modelDesc=Free%20Standing%2C%20Electric&modelNumber=9114658815&documentID=00053545&documentTypeID=PLDM&documentClassCode=PM&titleType=BODY%20SECTION&titleID=00002&.  It is inside the oven in the upper right or left hand corner.  Should be able to remove from the inside.  Two phillips screws and pull it out harness also.  Plug new one into harness and put screws back in and you are done.

SOURCE: Whirlpool gas range model gw395leps00 error code e2 f3

The F3 E2 error code indicates that the electronic oven control board in the range senses an over-temperature condition in the oven.

This can be caused by a failed temperature sensor probe, a wiring problem between the sensor and the control board, or a failed electronic oven control board.
If the oven is apparently not overheating when this error code appears, then your likely failure is the temperature sensor probe.
If the oven is overheating, then you likely have a failed electronic oven control board due to a stuck relay not cycling the oven heating element off properly.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Ldg3016st f3 error code

Re: LG LDG3016ST 30 in Convection DoubOven Gas Range
We have the same problem and hope for a possible solution; we've already tripped the breaker for more than 5 minutes, which worked, but the F3 error returned later. We can get around it by hitting random buttons which turns it off for a day or less but it always returns. ANY CLUES OUT THERE?

Gives codes F-2 &F3 what is the problem [email protected]

Hi, Error Code F2
An F2 error code indicates a failed connection with the keypad. Ensure that the connection between the keypad and control board is tight, and press the "Cancel" key. Wait one minute to see if the error code returns. If it does, the keypad is defective and needs replacing.

Error Code F3
F3 error codes are triggered by problems with the oven temperature sensor. You cannot tell whether the sensor has shorted out or has simply failed to generate a reading if your Whirlpool range only displays two-digit codes. On a Whirlpool range with four-digit error codes, the F3-E0 code represents a failed temperature sensor and F3-E1 represents a short in the sensor. Regardless of which code is displayed, replacing the temperature sensor is the only way to correct the problem.

Hope that helps.

F3 error code

Check the connection from the temp censor to the board. A break in the wire will cause the F3 and fan to run. Good luck.

Nothing Works Shows F3 Error

the F3 error code is an oven temperature sensor fault. The sensor is a small probe that sticks out of the back of the oven wall. They do go bad and can be easily replaced. If I had your EXACT model number (found along the inside of the oven door or lower drawer) you can replace it.hope this helps
