SOURCE: Dishwasher tripping the circuit breaker

Andy, leave the breaker off and remove the toe panel (bottom panel) from the dishwasher. Remove the cover of the junction box where the cord connection or wiring is made. Look at the wire caps and see if they are not burnt. Sometimes these connections become loose and arch, tripping the breaker. If so, cut the wires, strip a new end and reconnect. SOURCE: why does my washing machine trip the electric

Someone with a wattmeter needs to read the wattage load by the machine when washing. If the running load is greater than the rated load of the machine, then the problem is likely the motor itself or the drum bearings are going bad. If the electrical load is normal, then the breaker in the house electrical panel is either under-rated, or the breaker is defective. If the breaker is a 'ground fault' type, the washer may have current leakage to ground causing the breaker to trip. Another possibility is that there is another outlet that is on the same circuit and the combined load trips the breaker. Shut the breaker off and try any other sockets in the area to see if they went dead too. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Hotpoint Aquarius condenser dryer model no. TCL770

we had this, and it turned out to be the plug getting damp at the back of the dryer due to inadequate ventilation at the back of the dryer...we pulled the dryer away from the wall slightly, allowed the plug to dry out for a few days and the problem was solved.

What fuse? the one at the end of the cord on the pressure washer? Or the circuit breaker on your house?

If it is the one on the cord it may have gone bad. To test replace it with normal plug (non-GFI) and plug it into an outdoor or bathroom GFCI (GFI) outlet. If it still trips that outlet then there is a ground fault in the device which may be minor or major.

If it is a home circuit breaker remember that electric pressure washers use a lot of power - typically 1500 watts. If anything else is plugged in it can trip the house circuit breaker.

If the dryer is tripping the circuit breaker, it's possible that the circuit breaker itself is malfunctioning. or a wire is loose to breaker.
There could be a loose connection in the outlet. A loose connection in the outlet could consist of wiring that is not functioning and is unable to properly manage current. The current needed by the dryer is being mishandled by the loosely connected outlet and drawing more power from the electrical system, tripping the circuit breaker. check outlet to find out !

Hotpoint rvm1625sj01 no power

Hello

Plug the microwave into the outlet if the microwave won't power up. Make sure the plugs on the microwave match the type of outlet. A four-pronged outlet can only be used with a four-pronged plug. Same with three-pronged outlets---they only work with three-pronged plugs.

Inspect the plug. Make sure it hasn't been cut or tampered with. Four-pronged plugs can't be cut down to fit a three-pronged outlet. Three-pronged plugs mustn't be forced into four-pronged outlets. A three-pronged plug mustn't be used in a two-pronged outlet, either.

Replace blown fuses, or if there's a circuit breaker, check it for tripped breakers. Sometimes the trip won't be obvious, so cycle the circuit breakers. Turn them all the way off and then back on again.

Plug another appliance in the outlet. You will find this easier with three-pronged appliances. Simply plug a toaster, or other appliance into the microwave's outlet, and see if it works. If it works, you know the problem is with the microwave, not the power circuit. Have the microwave serviced or replace it. If the toaster or other appliance doesn't turn on, you know the problem is with the circuit.

Dear Sir:
Thank you by your question, here some answer:
PROBLEM: The power does not turn on SOLUTION: a. Make sure that the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet . Use only a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets all of the specifications . Important: The treadmill is not compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. b. After the power cord has been plugged in, make sure that the key is inserted into the console. c. Check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes as shown, the circuit breaker has tripped. To reset the circuit breaker, wait for five minutes.and then press the switch back in. d) Please check the power cord maybe is broker Testign with DVOM(Digital Voltimeter). e) Test the circuit breaker of the House, and Reset, see in outlet box if some wiring is loose.
Thank you in advance, sincerely. Blessing.

My stove is tripping a breaker every time i plug it in... new problem

Is it a new stove? There are really only three reasons that you can trip a breaker. you are pulling to many amps for the breaker, the breaker is bad or there is a dead short in the stove or wiring. Do you have an ohm meter?
If it's a new stove it may be using more juice then the old one. Unlikely though. Your cord my be bad also. The outlet may be bad
The breaker is the easiest to replace, then the cord then the outlet. After all this it might be the stove. If you have an ohm meter you can test you breaker, cord and outlet for shorts.
You are dealing with 240 and 40 or 50 amps of electricity. Make one small mistake and you will be dead. My personal guess is the cord or stove Be careful and good luck
