I bought my Nokia 3230 about 4 months ago on a visit to Ukraine. I came back from Ukraine (to Canada) 2 months ago....The phone has been dead for 2 months now. Shortly after I came, when I tried to turn it on..I would only see a white flash (3 secs or so) on the screen (happens before it starts up), but there was no startup....Curious thing was if I pressed the "turn on" button, and while the screen was still white, plugged it in to charge...It would stay white for as long as It was plugged it. When I plugged it out, it dissapeared. Now it's totally dead....It doesn't even react to the "turn on" button....If anyone knows what the problem with it is, I'd really like to know...I've grown to like the phone and would not like to throw it away.

Contact the retailer." can you offer me solutions for this?
Back up your data and then enter this to try a soft format:
This will soft reset the phone if that dosen't work then try this
*#7780# (restore factory settings).
If this doesn't work you have one option left: hard format.
DO NOT RELEASE ANY BUTTON UNTIL "FORMATING" IS DISPALYED!
