SOURCE: Comcast home page is stuck on August 25th. Cannot sign out,

I am not sure if I understand your problem correctly or not. How I am understanding this is that your dialup will not refresh or work on comcast's homepage. Thus not allowing you to logon to your email account. But your dialup will work on other parts of the net.

If this is the problem:
First, clear your internet cache. If that doesn't work, then try using a different browser. If you are using Internet Explorer, try using Firefox...it is free.

If your comcast account is not assessable from any computer, you need to call comcast tech support and see if there is a problem with your account.

SOURCE: i dont have a home page anymore the screen said

This error means that the browser could not find the page that was setup as the homepage in the browser settings could not be found. May be because the laptop is not connected to the internet or the homepage URL is spelt wrongly and there exists no such URL. What you do is to open the browser and go to Tools->Internet Options. Here right on top you would find Home Page. Type the URL here. Alternatively, access a page and when it has opened fully, go to Tools->Options and here set this page as home page.

I cant get into my hotmail whats up with that

Point your web browser at Sign In

If another account comes up, sign out of it by clicking the avatar in the upper-right then clicking "Sign out."

If you then still can't sign in to your account, click the "Can't access your account?" link on the sign-in page.

If you're getting an error message, what does it say?

Why does msn open as browser when I open google search

Long and short your home page has been hijacked. The previous responses are all correct and you need to follow their advice with one extra step. Every time you download or install software, do it slowly and carefully reading EVERY page/window that opens so you don't just keep hitting enter and key past the point where it says " hey sucker if you don't read this and say no we are going to make changes you don't want" and this is the gospel truth...

Check my email

MSN Hotmail is a popular Web-based email service.
It allows you to read, send and manage your email with just an Internet connection and a browser.
This is convenient when you are on the road a lot or when you use multiple computers at home, work and school. It takes a few moments to log in to your MSN Hotmail account.

Launch a browser.
Go to the Hotmail log-in page (see Below).
http://login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct=1253879194&rver=6.0.5285.0&wp=MBI&wreply=http:%2F%2Fmail.live.com%2Fdefault.aspx&lc=1033&id=64855&mkt=en-us
Type your username and password in the appropriate fields on the page.
Hit the "Sign In" button.
Hit the small "Hotmail" link in the upper-left corner of the MSN page that may appear.
If your Hotmail page appears automatically, click the "Inbox" link on the left side of the page.
Click the message that you want to read in the main window.

Dell v14 msn homepage stopped working and not sure why msn link broken

I guess you lost your Home Page link to MSN, right? If so, use your browser--probably MS Internet Explorer--to go to www.my.msn.com and sign in.

From the MS IE top menu bar, select Tools, then Internet Options. In the General tab you will see Home Page on top and your home page address should be in the Address line. Click Use Current.

Your home page should be restored.

Cant always sign in or access email even when i manage to sign. Sometimes no page at all though it says signed in and sometimes get http://www.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/sbox?rru=hotmail which tell me This...

What happens when you try to log in using a different browser? Try with Firefox or Opera. If you can get in, it's a problem with IE7.

I'm thinking IE7 may have some settings that have been improperly applied. I would try cleaning out temp files and your trusted sites list. Change security settings to Medium. Restart IE7.
