SpectraLink 6020 Link Battery Problem

I am getting a 'Battery Failure - Bad CRC'...is there a way to refresh this batter or do something with the handset itself to clear this error? Or is this just a dead or bad battery?

Thanx
Ken

Display shows a phone number but no dial tone. device seems "stuck." On/off and remove/replace battery did not help

You may visit your Mobil Sevice Provider's Client Attention and ask them. Maybe it's a configuration issue. Maybe it can be solved doing a Factory Reset - The know the codes to do it.

I have an isuzu dmax2005,it doenst start

first test your battery if it is charged then you ether have a bad starter or and open in one of your wires it may unless it cranks and dose not start then it would be high resestence coused by corroshen or something of the sort and if the batter is depleted then it is ether a bad batter or a bad connection from the altenater to the battery coused by lose wires or corrison or altenaters bad that is basicl any and all posibiltys oh one last thing you might just have bad gas

My expedition keeps dying on me the battery dies once i get it started though it works fine its when i leave it parked over night there is a new alternator on it cause the old one went out and the battery...

I'd run it by Autozone if this was the batter that was in it when the alatnator went out it may have cause the batter to get a bad cell, they will check it for free, Most batters have a 3 to 5 yr. warrenty. DONT tell thim your alatnitor went out if the battery showes bad this will void the warrenty just simpley say my batter has a bad cell....of corse the place you bought the batter will test it as well befor they give you or pro-rate your old battery good luck

Spectralink PTB400 internal error

Correcting Spectralink Errors Below are instructions on performing a “soft test” which will correct any internal error 8 and 4444-444C messages on your Spectralink phone. To aid you in educating your staff you may view the following Word document showing the step-by-step instructions. Please feel free to print and post this document where the Spectralink phones are kept on your floor. Soft Test Instructions
  1. Power off the phone.
  2. Press and HOLD the volume key (VOL) and the power key at the same time (the phone will chirp and display the serial number.)
  3. Now…release ONLY the power key (phone will vibrate and make a long tone.)
  4. Now release the volume key (the display will have a lot of black boxes and ZZZZ’s – you will also see the bottom of the display showing “msg”, “bat”, etc.)
  5. Count to three and then power off the phone.
This “soft test” is to correct only certain internal error messages. When the phone is experiencing a correctable error the display will read “internal error 8” or “internal error 4444-444C”. For all other internal errors the phone will need to be taken to Teleservices, NE-165 to be replaced.
