Question about Sabrent External Floppy Drive
I am running Windows XP pro and connect a Sabrent ext floppy drive to a direct USB port. The drive shows up in control panel system as a TEAC drive but does not come up as an accessible letter drive in windows explorer! I have the same problem with larger than 2GB thumb drives. I have been doing some research on this in conjunction with service pak 3 install.
I too am having a problem with the Sabrent floppy drive.
I'm running a windows 7, 64bit system, everything installed ok,
but I kept getting a "install disk" message every time I tried to
access the drive. (I did have a disk installed.)

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I would expect that you simply plug the usb cable flat end into the usb port of your computer after Windows has been booted in.
The floppy drive should self install if you are having a current windows xp on your pc. You will see A: drive when you click on My Computer.
Hope this helps. Please rate the solution.
