go to the following site
download the user manual(not quick installation guide) and check page no 7 or content 1.3 to get the jumper pins to reset the motherboard.
just short those pins and the cmos settings will be gone.
another simple method is just remove the battery and wait for 5 min and again plugin the battery.
thats it you motherboard is resetted to factory settings.

No, you don't...but if you have a problem just check for available updates for your MOBO, if you find any update then proceed to download to your system .
