Install a brand new needle. A bent/damaged needle sometimes will not pick up the bobbin thread.
Verify the machine is threaded correctly.
If it still will not pick up the bobbin thread, most likely it is a needle/hook timing issues. There are many web sites and videos online explaining sewing machine timing. Or take it for service.
Be sure to use a brand new needle. A bent/damaged needle may have difficulty picking up the bobbin thread.
Verify that both upper and bobbin threads are threaded correctly. If so, and it still fails to pick up the bobbin thread, most likely there is needle/hook timing issue. Take it for service.
Did you check the tension? Sometimes when doing lettering or other specialty stitches you would lesson the thread tension which affects the bobbin thread behavior; did you remember to increase it again before switching back to plain sewing? (Though I would still expect it to pick up the bobbin thread... if it's not picking up bobbin thread then I wonder how the loops are being left on the back side of the fabric; it's the tension of the bobbin thread that keeps the top thread from just pulling through. I'm adding this because maybe that's a clue?)
Hi, Make sure you have threaded the bobbin thread correctly. Also your top thread must be correctly threaded in order to pick up the bobbin thread. Please let me know if I can help any further.
