Question about Lenovo G450 (2949CGU) PC Notebook

My lenovo G450 laptop keeps shutting off automatically whenever I'm watching videos or playing games.

Whenever videos are playing on the laptop for over 40 minutes or a game is running, the laptop will automatically shut off with no warning. Also, if the laptop is connected to the television through an HDMI cable it'll shut off in under 20 minutes. I've attempted to clean the laptop fan and even us a cooling fan under the laptop.

Probably the cpu or gpu (from graphic card) is overheated during intense work

Be sure your wireless switch is on. Then check your device manager. If it has yellow mark under network adapters, then you need to download driver for that. Click here to download driver. If that won't still work, try uninstalling Lenovo Readycomm from the list of your programs in Control panel. If that still doesn't work, contact your service provider to configure the wireless settings of your pc and router.

The graphic card usually crashes due to over heating. Keep the gpu cool. you may use a pedestal fan as well.

Hey, I have a Samsung laptop which recently started to just power off (no shut down screen). It shuts down whenever I play League of legends or else whenever I'm running a couple different program
it seems like ur display driver is causing the problem, I too play league of legends, its fun game :D
I have nvidia, and it did the same thing, if u have nvidia try this:
1.Device Manager 2.Display adaptors3. nvidia GeForce, or other model of nvidia4.Browse computer for driver software5.Let me click on a list of device drivers6.Have disk7.Browse8.C:\nvidia\winvista\<version>\english where u might find it
9.nv_disp.inf10.ok11.click on the device12.Next,
and thats it, found this solution, on youtube, but it worked for me :D
