Problem with HP LaserJet P2015dn Printer
Error in Installation CD of HP2015dn3 Solutions
I am trying to install new HP2015dn but it gives me following error when I am putting CD in to computer.
"Runtime Error !
Program : D:\P2015eGSG.exe
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
when I click OK it says
Executable 'D:\P2015eGSG.exe' had the following unrecoverable error:
Couldn't find library MSVCR80.dll (required by C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\OFFICE12\MSOXMLMF.DLL) Please ensure that it is installed

When trying to install an HP LaserJet P2015 printer, a MSVCR80.dll error message is received.
SOLUTION: To resolve the issue, complete the following steps:
Before installing the printer, disable any Anti-Virus and/or Firewall software. To disable the Anti-Virus and Firewall software in Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows 2000, press the Ctrl+Alt+Delete simultaneously to enter the Windows security screen. Then select Task Manager , select the Process tab, select Anti Virus and/or the Firewall Image , and end process on the software.
Disable XP firewall. To disable the firewall in Microsoft Windows XP, right-click My Network Places , select Properties , right-click Local Area Connections , and then select Properties . Select the Advanced tab and remove the checkmark from Internet Connection Firewall .
If the issue persists, before trying to install the printer, we suggest you complete follow the steps:
For system clean boot to perform, click Start , click Run , type msconfig in the Open box, and then click OK .
On the General tab, click Selective Startup , and then clear the Process System.ini File and Process WIn.ini File , and Load Startup Items checkboxes. You cannot clear the Load system Services and Use Original Boot.ini checkboxes.
On the Services tab, select the Hide All Microsoft Services checkbox, and then click Disable All .
4. Click OK , and then click Restart to restart your computer.
5. When the system restarts, click Start , and Printers and Faxes . Delete all the printer icons.
6. Click Start , click Printers and Faxes , click File , click Server Properties , and then click the Drivers tab.
7. Select all the printer drivers individually, and click Remove . Remove all the drivers one by one.
Click the Ports tab and delete the listed TCP/IP ports individually by selecting the Port and clicking Delete Port .
Click OK , and then restart your computer.
When the system restarts, begin the installation process. You may insert the installation CD into the CD-ROM and follow the onscreen installation steps to install the printer locally.
NOTE: Do not connect the printer to the computer until prompted to do so during installation.

There may very well be a glitch in the HP installation CD. Go to their web site, HP.com. On the home page, left hand side - middle of the page, you will see a link for software and driver downloads. Click on that and then fill in the blanks on the type of printer you have. It should take you to a page that shows all software available for your printer - including the latest drivers. Once you find the driver(s), you can either download the file(s) to your computer and then do the installation - or just run the installation program from HP's web site (probably the easiest way to do it).
