Question about Sanyo DVD-SL20 DVD Player
When press the eject button, the word "lock" coming out on the screen
You need to unlock the tray. The instructions are in your owner's manual.
Common unlock codes are:
Power off the DVD and hold the stop button for 5 seconds, then press eject.
Power off the DVD and hold the eject button for 5 seconds
Some models need the power on when you do this. I could not find an online manual for details.

SOURCE: DVD Eject tray stuck
I've had the same problem for some time. I have found that if you insert a VHS tape on the cassette side, insert then eject, and then switch back to the DVD player the DVD door usually opens right away. Not sure what if any corrolation there is between the two sides of the player but it's worked for me.

To unlock, manually press and HOLD the open/close button & the stop button simultaneously, and HOLD them both down until the lock picture disappears. The DVD will eject when you press the open/close button.
To lock the DVD inside the machine, repeat the same step, and it will lock it inside.
