I have the Titan SCR2 N-120. You may have a different model. On mine if you are looking at it just a inch below & 1 inch to the left of dead center will be a round black sticker(it has some white lines at&t's logo). there's a pin hole in the middle of the sticker that you can poke to reset. Or turn the breaker off then take the 2 screws out of the top of the unit. It's just a thin metal cover that you can pull back & look inside. You'll see a red circular button thats the reset button. It's right behind where the hole I was talking about & what gets pushed in. you'll also be able to see if anything burned out & can get replacement parts at titanheater.com . One of my heater elements had burn/ melted & I've ordered a replacement. It was $17 + $11 s&h but still cheaper than $200 new unit from e b a y. Best of Luck

SOURCE: Titan tankless hot water heater will not go off standby.

There are FAQ's at the following location:

http://www.titantanklessheater.com/page/1227557

Could be a few things. Most common are reversing the water flow (putting your cold water input into the units hot output instead of the other way around) or not bleeding the air out of the unit (running water for a minute with the unit off) before using it. Could be a bad flow detector switch or an internal malfunction as well. If you review the link above and my tips and don't find anything then contacting the company is probably your best option.

SOURCE: No Hot warer frpm our

Hi,
The water is dripping from the connection because the connection has cooled as a relut od the hot water not keeping it expanded...

Now... the tank may not be heating for many reasons....first check that you have power going to the heater...
Then make sure the reset button has not tripped...if it continues to trip then you have a problem... usually with the thermostat...
If that is not tripped then the thermostat could be bad...and not sending power to the heating element...
If you have power to the heating element and no heat then the element burnt out...

Yes.
Default temperature will be 120 degrees F

The titan water heater does not heat. The unit shows that it is on.

Hi,
Most likely it is because the heating element is burnt out inside the heater....
You will need to replace the heating element or replace the heater...

I have a brand new Titan N-120 that melted the first 8' of the inlet pipe until it blew apart at a fitting. Is this a flow detector switch problem?

No. It is a limit switch malfunction and a temperature and pressure relief valve problem. The safety valve should have opened before any melting occurred. You do have a TP&R valve, right? Depending on how new the unit is, you should contact the manufacturer for a new heater; dont take a chance.

The Titan 120 will not turn off. Is it the thermostat?

It sounds like maybe there is a build up of sediment. You can clean that out. Contact Titan tech support like at 888-Titan-80 or email then at Titantech@engnieer.com
