Kwikset deadbolt The deadbolt on my front door is loose on the inside, the plate is falling off. There is a small hole on the bottom but I can't seem to tighten anything with a small screwdriver. Any ideas?

Use the proper size alan wrench to tighten or loosen face plate . That is if you have not stripped that hole by putting the wrong tool to it. Under that plate is the 2 main screws to hold the hardware tight to the door.

Pegasus handle without lock has locked

before you put it together are you able to turn the nob with the return spring in it? I may be that you have the shaft going in the wrong side. Turn it and try it without putting it in the door. One way it will do as you are saying and when you turn the shaft 180o it should work.
