I have had my Nokia 6680 handset for approximately one year and one day it just decided to stop charging, i plug it into the charger and no response in the bar indicator. I thought at first it could be the charger, but it works fine on other phones. I then bought a new Nokia 6680 battery but the problem still persists. Plz help!

first have bought an original battery replacement? if no then buy original, 2) do not recharge the battery before it drains complately,3) do not over charge the battery like leaving it plugged to electricity all night ,the life of battery goes down, recharging should be done for a max1.30hrs at a time
If you forget the security code, you get this error.. The default security code for nokia is 12345 If you forgot you can generate master code using your IMEI, which can be viewed by pressing *#06#
I Hope it helped you.
Thank you for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
this is a common problem with mobile phones if the battery voltage drops to low the phone canot control the initial cherge remove the battery and charge out of the phone if you can or by a new battery which will have a small charge in and should allow you to cherge the phone normaly
with respect to your low Nokia 6680's low battery, what you need to do is to charge it while switched off for atleast 12 hours. It is possible for the phone to have 200+ standby time afterwards but that is if its not used at all. You should also disable the bluetooth, as well as the backup ligthing if switched on as all these can dramatically reduce the life of the battery.
