SOURCE: whirlpool ultimate care II dryer: dry clothes sensor

Make sure that the vents are cleaned to include outside. Where it hook on to the dryer make sure that the housing is cleaned also. That should take care of the problem. Thankyou and if you need more help let us know.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Estate Dryer TGDS840JQ1 dryer runs but

when you say heat up is it at least getting warm...
you may have a igniter gone bad or your thermostat may have failed... your igniter is what has to ignite the gas to burn to make it hot. If its electric then your heating coil has failed and needs to be replaced

SOURCE: Whirlpool Duet dryer not drying like it used to

If your duet isn't heating properly and you have taken care of the lint problem then you could have one of two problems. Either you have a bad heating element or you have a bad fuse or temperature sensor.
If your dryer is not heating at all then it is most likely the fuse or temp sensor. If it is heating and just not enough it is probably a bad heating element.
Both problems would require a repairman to come and fix normally, however if you believe it is the heating element that can usually be replaced by the homeowner without too much trouble. Just make sure to ask where it is located from whatever place you but the new element from.

My whirlpool thin twin dryer will heat but clothes will not dry

Could be a venting problem, the damp warm air needs to be vented from the machine for the clothes to dry, if it is not venting properly the clothes will not dry. Have a look to see if your vent pipe is blocked of kinked.

My Whirlpool dryer tumbles but no heat. The clothes dry after along period of time and that is when i finally feel some heat.

Probably needs a good cleaning. If it was me I would remove the filter housing and do a through cleanup. make sure the vent going outside is not blocked. The dryer must have adequate airflow to work well.

I have a Whirlpool duet washer and dryer. The dryer is not working well. the ligts come on and it spins but it doesn't dry the clothes, what can the problem be?

Is it heating or not? Is this gas or electric? The first thing to check is your vent and clean the lint filter. Then you should check the heating element and the thermal fuses if it is not heating (assuming electric). If it is heating and you're not getting dry clothes then your venting must have issues. Good luck.

My dryer does not dry clothes

i would start by checking the thermal fuse and then the heating element itself.

Dryer heats up but doesn't dry clothes take 3 hours after restarting 3 times to dry 3 articles of clothing.

It's not your heating element. Your venting system is clogged. Like mine was. You'll need to take care of this ASAP and from then on at least once a year. It is a fire hazard. Not only that if left this way It can kill your heating element.
