-   I have the same problem. My Bauknecht is wae8985. Last time this fault appered new motor was installed, and the time before that, the brushes was changed. This mean that it was'nt the brushes, and it also means that it couldn't have been the motor. The repair-guy said it was "a known problem", and quickly installed a new motor after ordering it from somewhere abroad. It took four weeks of shipment. As I now've got the same error again, shortly after, it's easy to think it was'nt the motor either. The most irritating is that it is completly impossible to find a list that shows what the errors means on the Internet. The different repair-guys that looked at my machine, seems to just take a guess of what the error means. Why is it so hard for Bauknecht to give out the codes?? Anyways: I've experienced that it is better to look at Whirpool's sites at the Internet, as Whirlpool seems to have some licenses to be the (re)seller for Bauknecht in some countries. Good luck to you, I also wish myself good luck: Every week I read the commersials for new washing machines, as the one I have is a big dissapointment, all though we payed a lot for it. This only shows that expencive machines not neccessary is better. Quality does'nt follow the price. -   Bjorn00

my kenmore clothes washer is grinding on the spin cycle. It is not the coupling because I just changed that. I am thinking that it has something to do with the gearcase. It almost sounds like a shaft somewhere is hitting something as it is spinning. It is loud.
