Question about Frigidaire GLTF2940ES Front Load Washer
I have tried starting the machine in a number of cycles, but every time it just starts to buzz and does not get going. Drum appears to rotate o.k. Door lock is functional. Removed the service panel to take a look. Buzzing sound appears to come from a unit that I think is the water pump. It is attached to a bellows type rubber tube coming from the drum. It is also attached to the drain pipe. Any ideas what the problem may be. Also is this something I can fix? Thanks
Ababu, sounds like there is somethng in the pump. You are are on the right track. If the pump is buzzing sounds like you are getting power to it. Get yourself a pan or bucket ready and remove the clamps from the pump. Check to see if anything is lodged in the impeller. Clean it out and try it again. Catriver...post back
