Keep getting internet connection error#633

I Believe what is happening is that you have more than one connection trying to connect either that or is connected what I would suggest doing is checking your network connections. to do that you must do the following.
If using
1.XP: Go to start/run/type in ncpa.cpl and hit ok
vista: go to start/search bar/type ncpa.cpl
same with windows 7
2.If you are using a router wirelessly the connection will be a wireless connection however if you are connected with and ethernet cable it will say Local Area Connection.
3.Right click on the connection you are not using and hit disable.
4.If you have a Dial up connection that you don't use anymore you should delete it.
5.try the web browser "I hope this helped you out"

Tip

Set up and Use Internet Connection Sharing

Hi,

To enable Internet Connection Sharing on a network connection

You must be logged on to your computer with an owner account in order to complete this procedure.
Open Network Connections. (Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double–click Network Connections.)

Click the dial–up, local area network, PPPoE, or VPN connection you want to share, and then, under Network Tasks, click Change settings of this connection.

On the Advanced tab, select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection check box.
If you want this connection to dial automatically when another computer on your home or small office network attempts to access external resources, select the Establish a dial–up connection whenever a computer on my network attempts to access the Internet check box.

If you want other network users to enable or disable the shared Internet connection, select the Allow other network users to control or disable the shared Internet connection check box.

Under Internet Connection Sharing, in Home networking connection, select any adapter that connects the computer sharing its Internet connection to the other computers on your network. The Home networking connection is only present when two or more network adapters are installed on the computer.

To configure Internet options on your client computers for Internet Connection Sharing

Open Internet Explorer. Click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Internet Explorer.)

On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

On the Connections tab, click Never dial a connection, and then click LAN Settings.

In Automatic configuration, clear the Automatically detect settings and Use automatic configuration script check boxes.

In Proxy Server, clear the Use a proxy server check box.

Good luck!

Bhautesh.

Even though it does not show the connection on your monitor, the connection may still be working. Did you post this problem from the same computer? If yes, then you are fine.

I AM UNABLE TO ACCESS INTERNET THRU MY HYBRID APPLE MAC DESK TOP-

Go into network set up a shared Internet connection using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) You can use Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) to share an Internet connection among two or more computers on a network. First, you need one computer, called the host computer, that is connected to the Internet and that has a separate connection to the other computers on your network. You enable ICS on the Internet connection. The other computers on your network then connect to the host computer, and from there to the Internet through the host computer's shared Internet connection.
If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings might prevent you from completing these steps.
On the host computer (the computer whose Internet connection you plan to share):
  1. ?id=microsoft.windows.resources.shellexecutetopiciconClick to open Network Connections.
  2. Right-click the connection that you want to share, and then click Properties.getcontent.aspx?assetid=18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b&documentset=en-us&renderkey=signed1 If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  3. Click the Sharing tab, and then select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection check box.

Toshiba equium A210-17i wireles problems

Hi,
It doesnt sound like a problem with you laptop, rather its most likely to be the router.
People can edit the settings so that only their IP adress can connect.
If you can connect with limited connectivity, again its the router, not connecting properly.
Can you connect to any router? i take it you're not connection to your own XD

Hi , I have just gotten a new computer , my laptop is connected to the internet using the Belkin N but how do i connect my desktop to it too? it is not a wireless desktop

You can basicly connect to it with a network cable if it has a network port free.

it should have 4 Ports 10/100Base-T auto-sensing and auto-uplink RJ45 On the back.

The connection works but we cannot get to the explorer. There seems to be a setting to adjust and I don't know how to figure it out.

For this try the following.
First of all, make sure that the connection you have got is internet connection or LAN connection. If its LAN connection you have to make sure that one of the networked computer should be dialled or connected.
If its internet connection, then goto Control Pannel, double click Network connections
Find out your connection from the list there.
Right click the connection and select properties
In the property dailog box, click on the Security Tab and there
in the security options click on Typical and in the 'Validate my identity as follows' combo box select 'Select unsecured password' Finally click OK and try to explore.

Also from the control pannel double click the Internet Options and in the Internet Options dialog box select 'Connections' Tab
and make sure that there appears your dial-up connection name in the Dial-up and Virtual Private Network Settings.
Make it the default connection
If its not there you will have to a Add a dial-up connection
Hope this will solve your problem
