Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: how do you disable the

There should be an off indicator in the upper left of the touchpad. If you double click in this area, it will turn the touchpad off. You can confirm that it is off because a light will come on. If this doesn't or hasn't worked, go into your device manager and disable it from there.
Hopefully you have the drivers installed for the touchpad. You can find them here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=4145546&lang=en&cc=us&taskId=135&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=4145545
Good luck.

Maybe you have the caps lock on. Hit caps lock and see if it stops blinking? Is that the only problem you're having? Does the computer run ok otherwise?
