Question about Samsung Digimax L60 Digital Camera
My 2 year old camera won't turn on at all; it's totally unresponsive. I tried charging battery again, taking it out and trying again etc but with no success. I took it back to the shop and they suggested trying a new rechargeable battery as 2 years is the usual shelf life for one. I bought a new battery (not a samsung brand) over the internet, it still doesn't work. My camera has not been dropped or damaged in any other way. I'm due to go on holiday in 3 weeks and am desperate to get it working before then. Can anyone suggest anything?
Your Digimax L60 will also recognize your SD card please select the option to save pics
In camera or in memory card. This time your camera work on its internal memory.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo cataloging program.
