It could be cause by a dirty optical lens. You can try cleaning it by using commercially available CD OPTICAL LENS CLEANER. Just follow the instructions given by the manufacturer. If nothing happen and if still under warranty just bring it back to the store or to the authorized service center. If not try to follow this simple step before you call a local repairman. Sometimes a dirty optical lens cannot clean by a commercially available optical lens cleaner. (1) Unplug the unit from the wall socket. (2) Unscrew the unit to remove the protected cover.. (3) The optical lens is located in the middle section of the CD tray assembly. here is the picture. Never touch the optical lens because it may add more add more damage on the unit. (4) use a cotton buds and a drop of cleaning solution or a drop of water if you don't have... Clean the optical lens but do not push so hard, just enough touch... After you finish cleaning the lens just return the protected cover from its original position... then plug the unit again to the wall socket and try if the problem is solve... Ty
hope you're using a good dvd... but if this is happening more often... just bring it back to the store or to the authorized service center if its still under warranty.... if not, try this simple steps...(1) try to insert a optical lens cleaner cd if available.... (sometimes a dirty optical lens is the cause of the problem...). once you cleaned the optical lens try to insert a good dvd... check if the problem is gone... if not (2) unplug the unit from the power supply socket. (3) remove the protective cover.. (4) plug the unit again to the power supply socket again. but please be careful not to touch the electrical circuit of the unit...(5) insert a good dvd... check if the dvd is spinning normally?... if not or too slow maybe the problem is the motor... (6) check if the optical lens is flashing a red light... if not, check the ribbon wire. check if its not broken... sometimes a broken ribbon wire may cause the problem. (7) if the the optical lens is flashing and the cd or dvd is spinning too fast than the normal speed, and the optical lens is moving back and port, and you hear a noisy sound like skipping. then the problem is the ptical lens... ty

When running your pc, open the drawer.>

Now you can fit to your pcIf you using pc desktop
If it does the same problem, please change the cd/dvd r/w because the lance has defected.
try to clean optical lens, if still not work you need to adjust optical lens focus a small trimmer near optical lens assembly. need trial and error method or else you need oscilloscope for the adjustment. if you cant get the timing you can replace the whole optical assembly.
Optical lens problem. I assume ure not a pro in repairing it, so send it for repair to local tech. Before u do that, get a lens cleaning kit and clean your optical lens. Usually the optical lens cleaning kit comes with a cd and solution. Use it according to the instruction manual. If still the same, then send it to tech for repair.
HI, this is optical lens assembly failuer. you will need to send this unit in for a optical lens replacement procedure. this procedure is costly and, you will need to ship it as well to the manufacture for this repair.
The actual issue is the lens is unable to track due to the assembly failuer(load/tracking motor malfunction).
You may be able to contact a local tech that will be able to order this assembly and repair it locally for you. this is unlikely but, its cheaper than sending it off.
Mostly this happens when optical lens couldn't read data on disc. There are two possible reasons, one is cd itself is dirty and 2nd is optical lens is dusty. Take off top cover of your dvd player and clean optical lens with good quality cotton swab. Hope problem will resolve.
And if dvd player still says no disc, qualified tech person would be next option.
When getting a message that the DVD can't play or load, try playing a CD. If the CD works, the problem is most likely either failing optics or dirty optics. Try opening up the machine and carefully clean the lens using a cotton swab and alcohol. That may resolve the problem. If not, then a trip to the service shop is in order.
