SOURCE: Why does the flame on my bbq grillware gas grill

If this is a propane (LP) grill, it could be a sign that your regulator is going bad. Try replacing the regulator.

How to replace the bulb of a microwave oven

Replacing a Built-in Microwave Oven
  1. Step 1 Locate the cabinet above the built-in microwavemag-glass_10x10.gif oven. Find two screwed-in bolts. Unscrew the bolts while someone holds the microwave steady.
  2. Step 2 Unplug the electrical cord from the cabinet above and snake the wire down the hole towards the microwave oven. Continue having someone hold the microwave steady.
  3. Step 3 Roll microwave to left or right to set it free from the mounting bracket in the back. The microwave oven should now be unlocked from its position and can be removed completely from the area.
  4. Step 4 Install the mounting bracket on the new microwave that was included in the package.
  5. Step 5 Snake the electrical cord of the new microwave through the hole in the above cabinet. Plug in the electrical cord.
  6. Step 6 Lift the microwave and rest it to line up with the existing mounting plate on the wall. Roll it until the microwave is locked in place.
  7. Step 7 Use a screwdriver or electric drill to screw in bolts above cabinet into the microwave mounting bracket. This will keep the microwave securely and tightly in place. Your new microwave is ready to use.

How to remove and replace burners on model 3673G-regal

Be sure the gas is turned off before preceding:

Remove the cooking grates and set off the side, out of the way.
Remove the Flame Tamer cover plates.

Looking toward to the rear of the inside of the burner compartment, you will see that the cast stainless steel burners are resting in place on top of a bracket or ledge. There is a tip on the bottom of each burner that goes into this bracket. There is a cotter pin or lynch pin that holds each burner in place. Remove the pin(s) and carefully lift the burner up and toward the rear of the grill. This will allow the burner to slide off the burner orifice and out of the grill. Before installing the new burner(s) compare the old one to the new one and match the air intake valve's opening to the new one. Most burners come preset. But, it's best to make sure. When you look at the burner where it fits over the burner orifice, you will see how to adjust it if necessary.

Now, just install the new burner(s) in reverse of the way you took the old one(s) out. It is not necessary to reinstall the cotter pin(s) or lynch pins (unless you want to), as they are on there to hold the burners in place during shipping.

Take your time and you'll do fine.

Hope this helped you. Happy Grilling!

I have a Viking Grill model VGBQ530 with cast iron burners that need replacement. I cannot find the exact model no. with these replacement burners however it appears that Viking now have a replacement made...

That is correct. Viking no longer supports the Cast Iron Burners. There is an aftermarket Burner VIKU1 that comes with mounting brackets to convert older Viking Grills that used a Cast Iron Burner to be able to switch to the stainless steel burner. The large bracket attaches to the center tube and has two screw holes and screws for mounting to the rear of the housing. The two smaller brackets mount to the two holes at the rear wall of the housing and create a ledge for the end of the two tubes to rest on.

How do i take microwave off wall i took 2 bolts off in cupboard above microwave and microwave did not budge at akk.

There should be two or three bolts inside of the cabinet above the microwave. Remove all bolts and then pull top edge of microwave forward (away from wall). It pivots on a mounting plate which is secured on the wall. Pivot forward and lift microwave up a little bit off of the ledge of the rear mounting plate.

Make sure to feed the electric wire (plug) through the hole in the cabinet as you pivot and remove the microwave. Sometimes cooking grease will make the microwave stick to the cabinet. So after removing the bolts use gentle force when pulling on the microwave.fce1346.jpg
I hope this helps and good Luck!

Kitchen aid KECC507GBL3 electric 36in cooktop. Burner switch is out - cannot get glass top off. Have removed all screws from plate mountings on the sides. Is there a trick to this?

Hi,

If it’s a range, there is usually a couple of screws that hold the front of the top down, remove the screws, lift the front of the top and pull it out from the back hinges. Install the new top, make sure there are no loose wiring.
If it’s a cook top then make sure that the power to the cook top has been turned off, open the cabinet and look up. There should be a couple of brackets that secure the cook top. Remove the brackets, carefully lift the top and set it on the counter top (put a towel on the counter top first). replace the glass top (make sure there is no loose or exposed wiring), set the cook top back in the counter, secure it with brackets as was before, and double check your work.

Thanks for contacting fixya.com

Remove a whirlpool over the range microwave oven

Jim here. In cabinet above microwave, locate 2 mounting bolts.
Place a box on the stove top to support the microwave once the mounting bolts are removed (you may wish to cover the box with a thick towel or small throw rug).
Procedure:
1. Unplug microwave.
2. Remove both mounting bolts from top of microwave (they secure it to the overhead cabinet).
3. With microwave front angled down onto box, pull some of power cord out of hole (to provide some moving space).
4. With microwave hand supported, remove box from stove top (a second set of hands would be helpful here).
5. HARD PART- detach top of microwave back from wall mounting plate by placing a hand under the bottom rear of the microwave and pushing up. (Wall mounting plate is screwed into the wall behind the microwave and provides both top and bottom support to the back of the microwave.)
6. Lower front of microwave until you can see about a 1-inch clearance between the top-rear of the microwave and the cabinet above it.
7. Firmly lift the microwave straight up and then bring forward. It should be free of the wall mounting plate.
