My volume /power button turns all the way around instead of just clicking on and off and controlling volume. It won't flip the inside switch or whatever it does inside to turn it on.

The switch has to be replaced, pure and simple since the on /off part of it is bogus. If you want, you can bypass the on off switch part with a toggle switch and continue to use the pot since it is probably still good to adjust volume.

How to use hk395 subwoofer without satellite speakers

System power is controlled by a switch on the right satellite speaker ON/OFF VOLUME control, therefore you would have to connect a separate switch to control power. However, you may be able to get a satisfactory result by turning the satellite volume control completely counter clockwise and adjusting the WOOFER VOLUME control to the desired level.

Micromax a90

Hi, try these. press power and volume down button for 10 sec. Then try to power up it by briefly pressing power button. if fails, press power and volume up, be carefull , when the screen comes live - not to select any other option but only normal boot. To select a option press volume up button, it will power off, then power on again by pressing power button. it may fail by keep trying and in between keep charging ..
Thanks

Don't know how to adjust volume on sansa fuze player 8gb and how to turn off completely

While playing, you can adjust the volume by "turning" the command wheel. Turn it clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease.

To turn it off, slide the power switch (the same switch you use to turn it on) up (toward the display) and hold it for two seconds.

How do you turn the volumbe up and down on my camnex mp3 player [t850 4g]

push the play button (V on the top of the unit - other end is pause II) until the volume level (number in the lower left corner beside the speaker icon) turns green (2 or 3 seconds), then push the FF button >>I to raise the level or the REWIND I<< to lower the level

The up volume button wont work

You have to open the phone and inspect the volume up button. It has probabely seperated from the board in the front 2 connections. Solder these 2 connections into place and you should be back to business

Reciever turns off

Powering off usually points to issues with speaker setup. You should read pages 42 and 96 of the 606 manual.

Page 42 covers impedence settings. Check your impedence settings for your speakers. The 606 handles speakers from 4 to 16 ohms. There are two impedence settings on the 606 - 4 ohms and 6 ohms. Set to 4 ohms if your speakers are 4 ohms or more but less than 6 ohms. Set to 6 ohms if your speakers sit between 6 and 16 ohms. Incorrect settings can result in the 606 going into power protection after prolonged use or at higher volume.

Page 96 covers testing for unexpected power protection. You should switch off your AV at source and leave for an hour. Disconnect all cables to speakers and other peripherals (TV, DVD et al). After an hour turn on AV and turn volume to MAX, If the AV remains on, turn down volume to min, switch off AV and reconnect all devices. Make sure the speaker cables are properly connected and that no bare wiring is exposed.

Once you have done this switch on the AV and turn to volume to MAX. If the AV stays on then problem solved. If the AV switches off then you should contact your supplier.

Amplifier power cutting out

not enough power to amp and or amps location is too hot might want to invest in a couple cooling fans from computer store and attach where needed

an amp should take up to 3/4 load but when not enough air to it to cool it off it will shut down

try this turn gain all the way down and slowly work up too desired amp volume setting
