Hi There, Unfortunately for you, it seems that Attempting to Downgrade your power supply or even use the 220V supply on a japanese machine you could have damaged some of the internal electronics within the system itself, The fuses may not have stopped all of the current reaching the Inside of the Ps3, this could mean that you would have to potentially replace your console, i would suggest this time getting a PS3 from your home country, that way you know the power Rating will work with the console. and also you are under sony warranty for any problems with the console !

Hope this Helps ?!

Well i bought a game called 2k8 basketball here in philippines, but i bought my xbox on australia, then i tryed my game and it said, ( The disc's region code is incorrect for this consol ) so how can i...

Sorry you can't fix it. Most games are Region specific meaning that they are playable only on Xbox 360 systems from the specific region that you have. If you bought your Xbox 360 in Australia then it is likely PAL system and can only play Pal games.

"Determine whether the game disc is from the same region as the region where you purchased the Xbox console. To determine the region, view the back of the game package. Look for one of the following codes:

* NTSC: North America and South America (United States, Canada, Mexico, Chile, and Brazil)
* NTSC-J: Asia (Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan)
* PAL: Europe, South Africa, India, Australia, and New Zealand"

If the game you have doesn't match with your Xbox 360 Region then you won't be able to play it. (but a few games are playable on multiple regions, check list below)

Check out this site prior to buying games to help identify which games that aren't PAL might be still playable on your system.: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-00-3-xbox360_compatibility_guide-49-en-84-t.html

Notice that NBA 2K8 US version is not compatible with PAL system. If you had bought the US version of NBA 2K9 then it would have worked.

I bought a game inported from japan but when i played, it wont let me due to a region pattern , and i dont kno what that mean

Hello there,
Video games, just like DVD, have regional restrictions placed on them. If you buy a game from Europe, you will only be able to play them on consoles designed to work in Europe. This is the same for Japan, America, Australia, etc. Unfortunately, there is no legal way for you to be able to play a Japanese bought game on an American system or vica versa.
Here is some more information on "Regional Lockout." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regional_lockout
I hope this helps. Thumbs up if you think so!

Ps3

The problem with that is the PS3 that you bought is tuned for Japanese dvds and games, You may have to get your PS3 modded to support the French games. However I am unaware of the legality of having your PS3 modded.
Good Luck
