I bought ps3 from japan and came back to Australia but it not work, at console say use 110 v i had try by use adeptor change 220 to 110 v still not work but i can see the red light in front when i press on it become green light just 1-2 second and back to red light , then i tried to use 220 v unfortunately no power at all even used adeptor, I sent it to repair shop they said the fuses it broken then they change fuses ...but still the same problem as the first i mentioned , I already asked sony support centre but they said they can't do anything with ps3 from japan , OH god Who know what going on , Thank you
Hi There, Unfortunately for you, it seems that Attempting to Downgrade your power supply or even use the 220V supply on a japanese machine you could have damaged some of the internal electronics within the system itself, The fuses may not have stopped all of the current reaching the Inside of the Ps3, this could mean that you would have to potentially replace your console, i would suggest this time getting a PS3 from your home country, that way you know the power Rating will work with the console. and also you are under sony warranty for any problems with the console !
Hope this Helps ?!
