Hello sir, i'm guessing the rope is broken , first you'll need a c-clamp large enough to clamp the spooler, needle-nose pliers,a small tipped screwdriver and a new length of rope.the safest way is to remove the rewind assembly cover leaving the spooler in place in its housing. try to remove the old rope with neddle nose pliers ans small tipped screwdriver.next hand spin the spooler to achieve spring tension until stops back off enough to line holes up, place c-clamp to hold it in place, now try to fish the new rope into the hole in the knot recess, trying to guide it to the exit hole in the cover, ( it's easier to feed the rope if you singe the end of the rope with a bic lighter and form to a point )and with a small knot at the other end, pull the rope all the way until you can seat the knot into the knot recess.next tie a loop knot into the other end of the rope,so the end wont be recoiled all the way into the housing.with tesion on the rope gently remove the c-clamp and let the rope be drawed in.if it draws all the way to the loop knot, check to see if the spooler is full if so,( not too full where rope is binding ) pull the rope about a foot and re clamp the spooler and install the pull handle, if rope is too long you may have to cut to length. if it doesn't draw all the way to the loop knot and the spooler is not full than you may need to add anoyher revolution to the spring tension in the same fashion as described above.there are eisier ways but that evolves removal of the spooler and repacking the reciol spring.( not for the novice ). hope this helps,MrFixIt,thank you.

How to string an electric guitar

I'm writing this tutorial to help new guitarists string their electric guitars.<br /><br />The first step is to purchase some strings from your nearest music store, depending on the type of music you want to play the string gage will be different. If you want to play heavier music such as metal then I suggest using a heavier gage of string. If you want to play calmer music such as indie, or maybe soft rock I suggest a lighter gage.<br /><br />Next make sure and remove <span style="font-weight: bold;">ALL</span> existing strings. The best way to take off the old strings is to simply loosen them up then cut them right in the middle with wire cutters. Then just pull the left end through the tuning knobs, and the right end through the back of the guitar (Note where the strings come out of the back).<br /><br />After you have removed all the strings its time to put on the new ones. Start with the string closest to the top of the guitar. On your string package you can reference by color which string is which. Find your string then run the sharp end through the back of the guitar in the hole relative to the string you are putting in (These holes in the back are the same holes the old strings came out of). Run the string all the way through so that it is pulled tightly into the back. Now place the sharp end of the string through its relative tuning knob at the top of the guitar. You should pull enough through so that when you pull the string up off the neck there is a gap of about one foot. Now turn the tuning knob clockwise until the string is relatively tight against the neck and it has wrapped around the knob 3-5 times. Now cut the excess string that is coming out of the tuning knob but leave about 1 inch in case you want to lower the tuning. <br /><br />Do the same thing for all your strings, then tune them with either a digital tuner or by ear if you can. You can purchase a cheap digital tuner for around $20 at your nearest music store.<br /><br />Enjoy!!

My pull string wont move on my ryobi x430

Mine seized up and the string wouldn't pull because my girlfriend used it a few times without making sure that the oil was full. I filled the oil well with Marvel Mystery Oil and was able to slowly get the string to move. Eventually the motor became lubricated enough to pull the string with regularity and now the weedeater works perfectly.

The weedeater string part below the Gaurd fell off I disconected the shaft and put the blower attachment on and it works fine. Is it the string head that's bad or the inside cable orthe coplete...

The part below the guard is designed to come off for cleaning and restringing, as long as you still have all the parts, you just need to put it back together and it will be fine.

Echo trimmer srm-230 pull string to start trimmer is stuck. I try pulling on it and it only comes out about an inch.

The pull string is probably tangled up. There are usually vents which enable you to see into the machines pull string assembly. Loosen the fasteners and pull off the cover exposing the pull string. You can unwind and untangle and then it should recoil perfectly. If that does not work continue to dismantle the pull string assembly because you probably have a broken starter pawl which is located on the back of the pull string assembly.

My craftsman incredi-pull gas powered trimmer/edger's string wont go back in

The rewind is sticking due to congealed grease, take the rewind off (as a complete unit) soak in hot strong soapy water pulling the string in and out to help flush the dirty grease out from around the pulley and spring. Once you feel it is cleaned allow it to dry and then apply a squirt or two of a dry lube like the graphite used for locks.
