Firstly correct model would help,500E is only the series; but from what you describe a number of faults could prevail: "1" the breather on the air dome could be blocked. "2" faulty pressure switch."3" faulty restrictor in p/switch tube:All these potential problems are not easily rectified by unskilled persons and you could make things a lot worse,which would be a shame as the 500E is an excellent machine(one of the best ever built) To rectify these problems is difficult enough even for a professional technician like myself. How do we progress with resolving a substantial leak from bottom of dishlex dx301. Pumps out water will nil issue when emptying. Also noticed spray arms do not turn and water only dribbles from them

Fill hose, or float assembly has a problem with its gasket, which will cause it to do that. The float assembly itself could be the problem, if the unit is draining fine I would say that the sump and drain lines are fine.

Fill line or water inlet valve itself as well could be the issue.

Hi,

The symptoms on a Dishlex Global 300 dishwasher:
  • eco light is flashing constantly;
  • noise on pump running continuously;
  • but the unit will not operate.
Possible corrective actions include:
  • water level - pls check incoming water pressure, filter, water level sensor, water valve;
  • base/bottom overflow sensor - there is a float switch in the base of the machine inside a small plastic dish. Behind the kick panel, access through a metal lid/panel/cover secured by 2 small screws. Dry completely the area;
  • Air/dry/ventilate the unit/system for a couple of days;
  • reduce incoming water pressure.
Hope that this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Hi
You have had a water overflow or leak which has triggered your flood switch. You need to disconnect the machine and pull it out. Throw plenty of towls on the floor and tilt machine back to empty the water from the base.
Hard to say where the overflow or leak is from. You need to reconnect machine while it is out of cabinet and run the machine to see if you can pin point a leak. Sometimes a burst drain hose.
Otherwise the front and side panels may need to be removed as the leak may be internal.
Other time a faulty PCB, faulty inlet solenoid which sticks or a faulty pressure switch or clogged pressure hose are the reasons for machine overflowing. Bad door seals can also cause machine to leak.
Therefore, there are a raft of items which can cause machine to overflow or leak.

Dishlex 500e water comes out the bottom when turn it on otherwise workes great what has happened

It is so common that the drain leaks in many ways and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose on the grip which can all cause the leak to occurs. Removing and Cleaning the drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water can leak if there is gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.

My dishlex global 450s pump keeps going and is flashing oF on the display

The outlet pump could be triggered because the "anti flood device" polystireen float and micro switch at the base of the washer has detected a water leak from a leaky hose or water spil) This device automatically puts the pump out motor on and stops any washing process.You need to dry the base of the washer and determine what caused the water spill. This should start the washing prosess.

Dishlex dishwasher global 300. Dishwasher continues to drain with ECO light flashing. Service manual says it is due to an incorrect fill level or fill line.

Some diswashers have a sump in the bottom with a float switch. If the water level overflows the float will activate the switch which will kill the machine and run the drain pump continuously.

My dishlex dishwasher overflows

The only part that physically allows water to enter a dishwasher (upon receiving power from the control) is the inlet water-valve. I would test the inlet water-valve located directly where you in-coming water line is connected to.

Shut-off power to the dishwasher and remove the 2 prong connection to the water-valve solenoid (small, black, batter size). Test the solenoid for continuity; if bad, replace the entire inlet water-valve (cost about $20)

Dishlex dx 302 heat drying

Found I had no hot water in my Dishlex DX302 and did a google search and found this page.

My problem was found to be the same as the others; one of the solder joints on the relay on the control board had arced off.
You could see the burn mark on the board and cover where it had been arcing.

Soldered it back together, and now it seems to be going good again.
Now my only problem is a damaged door seal, which means a small water leak; I have used part of a rubber glove to bridge the gap, and it reduces the water leak.
