Can not connect using LG Mobile Sync

Hi, i tried all the solutions on connecting the phone with PC, but it didn't work. My PC can recognize it as external drive - so there is nothing wrong with USB connection and i can do the 'darag and drop' of MP# or picture using Explorer. But when i open LGSync application, it said CAN NOT CONNECT TO MOBILE PHONE, CHECK CONNECTION and all the menu is grey. I also want to know how can we install new application such as game? Thanks in advance, Jibenk Have the same problem with KE970 mobile Menu - Settings - Connectivuty - USB Connection - Data Service But stiil LG Mobile Sync cannot connect,,, I am also having problems as described linking my lg kf510 with my laptop, it seems to be a basic fault! It is driving me mad. I also cannot download msn live messenger on java although I am wap enabled.Beginning to wish I had kept my old samsung and imode.....

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Can not connect using LG Mobile Sync

Sony Vaio running Vista 32 bit & a LG KE850 Prada had the same problem with LG Mobile Sync not recognising that the phone was connected, but now working fine.

Try the following :

After downloading mobile Sync to your computer.

Open phone settings, then connectivity, then USB Connection & select Data Service.

Connect the phone to the computer, the computer then senses NEW HARDWARE and looks for & installs the drivers.

Once completed.

Open Mobile Sync, select connect icon and the compurter links with the phone and everything works fine from then on.

SOURCE: Can not connect using LG Mobile Sync

I have an LG 970 with precisely this stupid problem. In many, many ways, this phone is a complete nuisance. This particular stupidity is a phone setup issue, it cannot be a Mass storage Device and a Data Service at the same time.
Solution:
Phone, Menu, 9 Settings, 4 Connectivity, 3 USB connection, ...
- select "Mass storage" if you want to access images, sounds etc using Windows Explorer, just like any other USB stick
- select "Data service" if you want to use the LG Mobile Sync application

Try changing 'Settings - Connectivity - USB connection' from 'Mass storage' to 'Data service'. I think that'll work (you'll have to change the setting back again if/when you want to copy files again. :-)

Cannot connect using LG internet cube software

I had the same problem but now i have found the solution for it. Its not the software its the phone. Go to your Phone Settings hit Connectivity and then Usb Connection select Data Service and now connect your phone to the pc and select connect in Mobilesync and it should work. After you are done using MOBILE SYNC you can simple go in settings once again and choose mass storage for any downloads!!!

Can not connect using LG Mobile Sync

I have the same problem like everyone else in this forum! here is the solution:

1. The USB modem driver came with the CD may or will not work, so get the latest drivers for it.

2. Before install the new drivers, change your phone setting under " setting -> USB connection -> from MASS STORAGE to DATA LINK.

3. Plug the usb cable to the phone and to your PC, it should do anything or give any message if it does just cancel it for now.

4. Install the new USB driver you just download, while install it will said something like " does not work with XP " just click OK don't panic.

5. After it finished installed you will see by the clock that it find the USB LG blah blah...and ding ding sound if you have sound on.

6. Now go back to LG Sync software and click on Connect & choose LG modem com port whatever it there.

7. You're done !!!

Here the link where to get the new USB driver:

http://it.lgmobile.com/web/web.product.manualSoftwareRF.laf

Yeah the link is all Italian ...don't panic, I couldn't read it either LOL...just click on the picture where you see the phone and the PC with wrap around with arrow, then follow instruction will be in English.

Good Luck!
Keep posting good answer that you find and help out other just like US!
