This happened to me before. You just need to delete the app, and reinstall it. Log back in, an it should be fine. However, once you delete it your previous drawings (that you haven't posted) will be gone. Hope this helped!

When you say the screen goes black even after disconnecting the device from computer it could be an issue with the firmware. It might need to have updated firmware. To get the updated firmware please go www.sandisk.com.
Where you can get the latest firmware for your model. *** Make sure when you update the firmware keep the device in MSC mode.
