I AM UNABLE TO ACCESS INTERNET THRU MY HYBRID APPLE MAC DESK TOP-

Go into network set up a shared Internet connection using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) You can use Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) to share an Internet connection among two or more computers on a network. First, you need one computer, called the host computer, that is connected to the Internet and that has a separate connection to the other computers on your network. You enable ICS on the Internet connection. The other computers on your network then connect to the host computer, and from there to the Internet through the host computer's shared Internet connection.
If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings might prevent you from completing these steps.
On the host computer (the computer whose Internet connection you plan to share):
  1. ?id=microsoft.windows.resources.shellexecutetopiciconClick to open Network Connections.
  2. Right-click the connection that you want to share, and then click Properties.getcontent.aspx?assetid=18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b&documentset=en-us&renderkey=signed1 If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  3. Click the Sharing tab, and then select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection check box.

Losing internet connection when enabling ICS on the wireless network connection

Do not enable ICS on any of the computers that are connected to a router regardless if it's wired or wireless, you only need to enable ICS is if you don't have a router/server on your network(the purpose of a router is to share a single internet connection from your ISP). To connect your computer wirelessly to the router(on a Windows XP computer given that you do not have a 3rd party Wi-fi application installed) is to right click on wireless network connection on the System Tray(lower right hand side of the computer's Desktop near where the clock is) or you can do it the hard way by going to Control Panel then Network Connections and choose view available wireless network and under the list of available network that your computer can detect, select the network name(also called SSID) of your wireless router and try to connect(of course if you enabled Wi-fi security you also need to key-in the security key(WEP/WPA) you configured on your router and that's it both wired and wireless computer/devices connected to the router should work at the same time.

Limit or no conectivity problem

I understand that you are using the Windows Internet Connection Sharing to share your internet connection to your other computer.

If you don't have a router to share the connection then you are using Windows ICS connection.

When you enable ICS, the network adapter connected to the local area network is assigned a static IP address of 192.168.0.1.

You can check this site for more information
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/ics_xp

You can try to connect the two computers first without the internet connection.

Example : PC A 192.168.0.2
You can set the IP addresses manually, just set the tcp/ip properties and from that area you can set the IP address manually.

And for PC B 192.168.0.3
You dont need to set the ip address for the gateway and dns since you are just testing the connection of the two computer.

They should belong to the same workgroup example HOME and set the computer name to PC1 and PC2.

You can right click MY COMPUTER then select PROPERTIES then you will able to see the computer name.

To start the wizard
1.
Choose Control Panel from the Start menu.
2.
Click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Set up or change your home or small office network.

Connection

Only DV connections (IEEE1394 connections) are possible when connecting your camcorder to a computer. DV connections (IEEE1394 connections) Your camcorder can be connected to a computer equipped with an IEEE1394 (DV) terminal or OHCI-compliant IEEE1394 capture board. You can transfer taped recordings (digital video signals) to the computer by connecting the camcorder to the computer. Use the editing software supplied with your computer/capture board to transfer video recordings from tape to the computer. If you are using a computer running Windows XP, you can also record the video simultaneously on your computer's hard disk and on the tape using DV-PC Recorder Software. You can download the DV-PC Recorder Software from Canon's DV-PC Recorder Web site. Making the connection Connect the camcorder to the computer as shown in the figure below. The computer's IEEE1394 (DV) terminal is either a 4-pin or a 6-pin type, depending on the computer used. Use either the CV-150F (4-pin - 4-pin) or the CV-250F (4-pin - 6-pin) DV cable (sold separately), whichever fits your computer's terminal. Precautions (1) There are cases where the connection may not work correctly, depending on your system specifications/settings. (2) If the computer freezes while you have the camcorder connected to it , disconnect and reconnect the DV cable. If the problem persists, take the following actions. (2-1) Disconnect the DV cable from the camcorder and the computer, and then turn off the camcorder and the computer. (2-2) Turn the camcorder and the computer back on and then reconnect them with the DV cable. (3) Your camera cannot be used with DV NETWORK SOFTWARE (DV Messenger).
