Re: How to change Oil
Hello , well i use a pump, but since you don't have one the easiest way to change oil is to remove the dip stick and turn mower on side with the filler tube faceing down to drain oil,be sure and put a pan down to catch the old oil,and put fresh 20o/z of fresh 30 WT,oil in.hope this helps, any comments welcome, thank you.

I feel that this will be a perfect way for you. Check your book and see how much oil your Honda needs. Drain the oil from your bike and re tighten the drain plug. Now put in the required amount of oil .Two things will happen. you will have clean fresh oil in your bike and you will know that it is the correct amount. Oil loses its viscosity over a period of time so new oil will be good for your bike and your engine and gear box will thank you. If there are no visible leaks you will not be losing oil so you could do that every 18 months. If you don't use your bike a lot do this every 2 years.Make sure that you put new washer on your drain plug any time you change oil.
The drain plug of the chevrolet 2004 trial blazer is located under the engine skid plate it is with the oil filter. And there is a guard to be removed. There is a trap door before it.
The skid plate door is located by the drivers side door, directly midway underneath the vehicle. You will need a flat/phillips hear screwdriver to open the trap door. Do not worry, the screws are 'loss-proff' and will not fall off the trap door plate. Once this has been removed, the oil drain plug and oil filter are now visible and accessible.
Oil change should not take you more that 15/20 minutes.
The oil filter is very visible. It is located at the rear of the
engine pointing downward (not sideways) on the passenger side (North
America). The oil drain plug is also very accessible on the lower
right side of the oil pan pointing toward the right front tire. If you have trouble finding a replacement filter buy
the one for a Lincoln LS. Same thing. Also use 5W-30 Motor Oil.
Can you tell us more? How many miles on the car? Which side of the engine area? Drips after you park etc? Oil ever low? If so how often do you ad oil? Any visible oil on engine and bay components under hood?
likely areas for oil leaks may include depending on model and make: Oil pan gasket seal. Oil pressure sending unit. Oil filter installed dry or over tightened at your last oil change. Oil drain plug loose or plug gasket needs replacing. Valve cover gasket needs replacing. Crank shaft seals need replacing. Distributor seals need replacing. RTV gasket sealer beyond expected life and need replacing for other engine components, inspection plates or covers.
The oil drain plug and oil filter are under the engine skid plate. You need to remove the trap door to see.
The skid plate door is located by the drivers side door, directly midway underneath the vehicle. You will need a flat or Phillips-hear srewdriver to open the trap door. Don't worry, the screws are 'loss-proof' and will not fall off the trap door plate. Once this has been removed, the oil drain plug and oil filter are now visible and accessable (how smart is that!)
Typical oil change and oil filter replacement time = 15-20 mins. for a familiar shadetree.
p.s. The Inline 6 (24 valve - 4.2L) takes 7 quarts of oil.
