Sony 8mm TRV 530 Camera

Hi great camera you got my friend, nothing to beat the 8mm if you are planning making good movies that last.
You can get your booklet replaced at Sony agents like you will see on net, type Sony Support centre, then look for tel num in your location.

can i ahve the driver for the sony gr dx 75???

Did try disconnecting battery or AC adapter and wait a few minutes then install power and turn on .See if it will eject

it seams that it has a usb streaming /connection feature..so all you need its a driver and a cable to connect it to a computer ..

all I found its a driver for hi8 camcorders but it seams that is for windows 2000 ...anyway some drivers work on xp just fine even if they were build for 2K ...its worth a try ...if not ..you can get a alder cheap computer and keep it with 2000 ( if we dont find the xp driver ) ...just for downloading and operating this camcorder...

Just compared part numbers on the web.

The older tapes were shot on a 8mm camcorder and the camcorder you have wil not play them becasue it doesn't have backwards compatability with the older format. The tapes you recorded are on a digital 8 camcorderr and it is different encoding than the one you recorded the other 60 tapes with. You will need to find either a dcr-trv 350 trv 530 trv 730 ect as these have the ability to play all the tapes.
Or find an older 8mm camcorder to play your tapes with.

I typed in TRV- 460E , but I was not sure it was a correct match you might want to double check.

I couldn't find any circuit diagrams at this time.
