Need to know exactly what product you are trying to correct. You have 5400, 5470, and listed under PSC 2210. Please post the exact make, model, and operating system you are using. Thanks.

    Any idea what language?

  • Wayne Mineard
    Wayne Mineard Oct 27, 2008

    OK, try this:

If you have accidentally selected another language and now want to reset the printer to English, do the following:

    1. Disconnect and reconnect the power cable.
    2. On the printer panel, press the left arrow once and then the Select button twice to reach the Language menu.
    3. Then keep pressing the right arrow until English appears. Press Select.
    4. If the menus are different from this, you can also try right arrow x 6, Select x 2, right arrow x 1, Select x 1, but the first method is probably more accurate and is certainly easier.

Important: Be sure to reset the power first so that you know where you are starting from. If you have accidentally wandered into the Frames menu or any other menu, the above code will not work.

I believe the "Select" button is the check mark.

How to reset mac book key board

Did you do this? Under SYSTEM PREFERENCES click on LANGUAGE & TEXT, then INPUT SOURCES and uncheck the boxes for all but the language you want. (You can pick more than one). Then before you leave, click on the bottom where it says "Show Input Menu in Menu Bar." The Menu Bar will show you the flag from the country whose language you have selected. If you click on that, you will see the other languages you've checked and can change them. Hope this helps.

I bought a Garmin Nuvi 1350 GPS. How do I change the language into English?

. Setting the Languages Voice Language--change the language for voice prompts. Touch tools > Settings > Language.
.
text Language--change all onscreen text to the selected language. Changing the text language does not change the language of user-entered data or map data, such as street names. Keyboard--select the keyboard for your language.

Touch Mode on any keyboard to change the keyboard language.

Was stuck on chineese, must, change language on lm 4800

You'll need to reset the factory defaults.
Download the User Guide (PDF) from here:
http://www.lexmark.com/publications/pdfs/2007/4800/en.html
(I'm assuming you have the something in the 4800 series of printers, though you posted your question in the 5400 series section)

Go to page 56&57 and follow the directions there.

If you have the 5400 series, the link is here:
http://www.lexmark.com/publications/pdfs/2007/5400/en.html
See page 123.
