Goes on and off

There are two very common problems that occour in this set. First on is a bad capacitor in the stanby power supply in the relay drive b+ circuit. Its getting leaky and soon if this goes bad the set will click on and off by itself when you hit the power button. Next problem could be the str type regulator IC. None of these repairs should be attemted by a non tech as there are no user serviceable parts inside these set. Good Luck
