Question about Daewoo DVQ13H1FC 13 in. Combo
My combi seems to go on and off all by itself you can hear it click to standby then click again and it comes back on is there anyway i could disconnect the stanby curcuit and if so would this cure the problem? it seems to happen after the set has been on for about ten minutes please help it is a brilliant picture when it is on and the video is too.
There are two very common problems that occour in this set. First on is a bad capacitor in the stanby power supply in the relay drive b+ circuit. Its getting leaky and soon if this goes bad the set will click on and off by itself when you hit the power button. Next problem could be the str type regulator IC. None of these repairs should be attemted by a non tech as there are no user serviceable parts inside these set. Good Luck
