Problem for PC Desktops

Generic problem for all PC Desktops

17 Flat screen stays dark for a few min...

Then if I take a break for a few minutes it goes to sleep and now I have to wait a few minutes again for the screen to clear up. Sometimes it takes longer than other times.
Can I fix it or does it need to go to the shop.
And would it be worth spending money on it.
I can get another one for 100 dollars.
This is the one with the little bird on it.

- I have already checked out both and have had no luck. I still think it is the monitor.

the problem may be that ur power options are not configured properly

if u have windows xp on your computer

u should

click n

START->CONTROL PANEL->POWER OPTIONS

and see the setting

also see ur screensaver settings
