Question about Sanyo PLV-55WM1 55" HDTV-Ready LCD TV
I turned on my 55" sanyo this morning and switched the home theater setting to my ps3, after a few seconds I seen a static screen and static noise for about 10 seconds, then my ps3 resumed normal operation. also seldom when changing channels or when watching tv there will be a flash of static across the screen accompanied by medium level pop. My tv is connect to 3 hdmi outlet home theater and all hdmi wires are brand new. This is my first 55" tv and this is the only problem i have out of it. is this a cause of the hdmi technology and the use of a home theater system, should i be concerned as it only happens sledom (like once a week or so). any help on this will be greatly appreciated

SOURCE: Sanyo DS19730 TV No Sound
Number 1 If the Sound is Ok,(CLEAR)For 1 min,Then the First thing I would be Checking Is the Audio Output for Ringbreaks around the Conns,If you have Jacks that say audio out on the Back Plug it into to a Input of a Stero and see If that works

SOURCE: Unable to use PS3 on HD channel
1. Connect PS3 to your TV
2. Select the Correct HDMI input on your TV
3. Press and hold the [power] button on the PS3
4. perform setup.
These are the steps to setup the video output for the PS3, It is possible that it is set to a resolution that your TV does not support.
If this doesn't work, you may want to contact Sanyo to ask if they have some protection circuit for the HDMI input. Some manufactures TV's will deactivate(turn OFF) the HDMI input under certain conditions. Unplugging the TV or some other procedure usually turns it back ON.

If the tv has a line audio out or a optical audio out then you need an audio receiver to hook up the audio to the outdoor speakers.
