A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Can I load the venturer HPS9308 map chip in my computer to update the map?

1-800-800-1020 is the direct line to Garmin (GPS) system. You can look up the maker of your GPS device online in a search browser. According to Garmin if you do not register the garmin online within the first 60 days of purchase then you are not covered within the one free map update. otherwise you can pay a one time fee of 49.99 map update

The MN6.exe fatal Application error is displayed all the time and I am unable to use the Navigon 2100 GPS

push the reset button on the side of the system (a paperclip works well for this). Also, remove the card and put in again. If this doesn't work go to Navigons website and make sure you've downloaded all the software updates. Make sure your unit is fully charged as well. Don't waste your time emailing Navigon's CS online help....I attempted to contact them on 3 separate occassions and never got a response. Good luck. Hope one of my work-arounds helps you.

'unable to save file. the system cannot find the path specified'

Had this same problem and just fixed it. You need to actually change the button settings in Navigator. Open MP navigator and choose One-Click, then click Button Settings. You can choose a new save destination from here. Even though you are using the software instead of the button on the device, it works.

GPS Venturer HPS9308. Can I charge this enough to use it when disconnected from the charger?

With it's internal rechargeable battery, you should be able to use this unit without the charger for a period of time. How long, tough, will depend on a myriad of factors, but don't count on more than 2-3 hours.

Fatal error, unable to open application database

Have you tried the reset button? It would be found on the lower right side on the rear panel. Don't really know if this will fix your particular problem, but it might be worth a shot.
