the problem seems to be the charging box. if the red light goes off relatively quickly after you place the bluetooth in the box then it is not gaining a charge. you have a warranty with this item that you can claim by following the instructions on the warranty card provided in the package.

I couldn't find an user guide for your headset. So, here come my suggestions: first, try '0000' (four zeros), which happens to be the most commonly passkey chosen by all manufactures. If this code fails, switch to '1234'. If it keeps failing, try '8888'.
Hope one of these passcodes might work for you.

The passkey is just "0000" without the quotes of course.
