Question about HP Pavilion a1210n (ED895AA) PC Desktop
Fitted new 600w power running 4gb ram tried installing GeForce GT520 but screen fails to light up. When i remove Ge force comes back alive!
You probably need to go into the Bois settings and disable the on board graphics. To do this you will need to start by being plugged into the on board graphics and have the GeForce card plugged in. Turn the computer on and during the HP splash screen, you sill see some options. I believe the setup option is F10. You will need to press this key to enter the setup. You will now need to locate the video options and set the source to the PCI-E. This will disable the onboard and enable the GeForce card. Once you save this setting and reboot you will need to move your monitor cable from the onboard card to the new card and finish the installation in windows.
Hope this helps
