Open the cabinet by removing all eight screws, locate the two screws holding down the top of the dvd drive and remove them. Slide back the plate and lift and you will be able to remove the disc from the drive.

To upload file to the COBY MP3 player, I went to setting, went to USB setting's, changed MTP mode to MSC mode then I was able to get access to folders with-in the mp3 player.

What you will have to do is just two of the inputs coming from dvd to the tv.
You should have red, white and yellow coming from your dvd. The Yellow is usually used and is marked on your dvd as the video and goes to the video on your tv. You can use either the red or white for the audio input into your tv. You have an older type tv but that is all that is necessary. Video to video and one audio only to the other audio input on the tv. good luck.
