Question about Transcend 160Gb StoreJet 25 Unveils Rugged USB 20 2YW 160 GB Hard Drive
Every now and then when i plug the external hardrive in to my computer it tells me to format the drive. I dont want to lose my information on the external hard drive all the time.
This is usually caused because the system did not originally format the drive. It seems to be a common problem with external drives that are moved from computer to computer.I had a similar problem with one of my sons external hard drives, yet I was able to copy four or 5 GB of data to it, with no problems.I have an external hard drive myself and so far I have not had this problem, as I use it on both my workstation laptop. This might be something worthwhile to research.Hope this helpsregards
