Hello
Three digit codes for RCA TVs are:
000/ 003/ 004/ 005/ 007/ 009/ 011/ 048/ 078/ 082/ 083/ 094/ 096/ 098/ 099/ 101/ 102/ 103/ 107/ 113/ 129/ 133/ 167/ 179/ 181/ 187/ 188/ 194
Four digit codes are:
0031 0004 0048 0054 0094 0100 0102 0107 0129 0191 0005 0009 0000 0162 0163 0342 0003 0015 0022 0096 0113 0125 0179 0187 0188
Direct Code Entry

  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.

Most go in from the rear--careful as very easy to destroy them--if front frame that holds the screens can be removed you remove it and install from rear---screens have a front and back side.......

Went black and white rca f32648

so far no proper details are available regarding resetting this particular TV ( f32648 ) .... i have checked user manual also

have you tried following things

1 - playing different dvds (dvd player )
2 - changing different channels ( cable tv or antenna )
3 - increasing ( to maximum ) & decreasing ( to minimum ) [in menu ]
contrast colour tint black level sharpness
picture presets auto colur colour warmth
4 - auto channel searching ( cable tv or antenna )

even after these trials if picture is in black & white then it is a hardware problem - since it is a rare problem no details are available about which component might have got deffective ...... only the service engineer who opens & checks your tv can tell the exact deffective component .......... sometimes it can be loose connection ( cracks at soldering joints - hit your TV lightly with your hand on left side or right side or on top - if color comes & goes then it is loose connection problem - all soldering joints should be resoldered by service engineer ) ..... or an IC might have got deffective ......... only after opening & checking your tv mainboard exact deffective component can be identified ......

I do not know what color to use the RCA jack in

RCA Jacks are usually white & red for left and right speakers and yellow for video. If you don't have a three piece set - then they are probably just for speakers and its one for right speaker and the other for left speaker.

On the back of the tv, the RCA jacks plug into the incoming area - with the red & white going to the speakers right and left and the yellow to the video jack. Then you need to choose the input method on the tv menu set up that matches in the one you chose on the tv. Examples of input methods are AUX, Antenna One, Antenna two, ect. With the tv turned on - keep changing the choice of input until you find the one that gives you a picture.

How do i connect my rca rtdvd1 to my 46' lg t.v.

not knowing the brand of your TV I can only give you a basic reply to your question, Most larger TV's have rca inputs on the back, ( some are on front for easy viewing and removal) From the output of the DVD system,, you will have a red, white , and yellow RCA connectors, plug them into the inputs for video on the TV as follows,, Red to the right speaker, white to the left , and yellow goes to the video,, ( your TV should have them color coded anyway ,, turn on the dvd and TV,, switch the TV to video,, and your in business

How To Connect A VCR

Hello,

your question is not clear enough. Do you mean "How to connect VCR to your TV?" If yes, then the below solution is the answer to your question. But if that's not your question, please rephrase your question for proper and accurate solution.

Connecting the VCR to a TV is not a big deal. There are two methods by which you can connect the VCR to our TV.

1. You can use a RF cord.
2. You can use a RCA cord.

I would suggest you use the RCA cord because the RCA connection has a better sound and display quality than the RF. So I would direct you on how to use the RCA connection method.

Here is a picture of what the RCA cord looks like for quick identification;

elect_comp_3.jpg

As you can see from the above picture that there are three cords. The Yellow cord is for display (video), while the with and red is for sound (audio Left & Right).

Turn of the VCR and the TV.

Look at the back of the VCR, connect the yellow to 'video out' and the white and red to 'audio out'. Note that the VCR might have only one audio out, that doesn't matter, just connect any of the red and white.

Now connect the other end of the cord to the back of the TV this way; Yellow will go to 'Video in' while the red & white will go to 'Audio in'.

Turn on the TV and VCR.

Select the TV to Source/AV and the display of the VCR should appear on the TV. Or better still, you can insert a cassette into the VCR, press play before selecting Source/AV on the TV.

By now the connection should be Okay.

If you any more questions or clarifications, please let me know as I would be glad to respond.....

Yours sincerely.
