Try going to the 'wireles' mouse website and there should be a 'download' tab or link for your mouse. Just make sure you have the S# for it may have to put it in. (u can try and google the companys name and it may take you to options with links)

You can try the driver which is available in the website of the manufacturer. They should have available drivers for their product.

How do i hook up a wireless mouse to my Dell Computer.

The exact steps will depend on which brand of wireless mouse you buy, but they're all pretty much the same. There's a receiver that plugs into a USB port on the computer to pick up the signal from the mouse and the mouse itself. You need to put batteries into the mouse, while the receiver is powered by the computer. There will probably be some driver software you'll need to install so that Windows will know what to do with the new hardware, and that will be on a CD. Usually you just put the disc in and the installation starts automatically. That's about all that any wireless mouse involves.

Good luck, happy mousing, and thanks for using Fixya!

Installing CD that come with mouse

You generally don't have to install the CD that comes with a mouse. Most of the time it simply allows for you to change the functions of the mouse's various buttons.

How to put cordless mouse on pc

A cordless mouse is usually attached to the computer with a USB wireless device that usually comes with the mouse. All you have to do is plug the USB device into an available USB port on the back or front of your computer and you should be ready to go. The device will install itself in most instances. Then you need to make sure that you put batteries into the mouse itself in order for it to work. Sometimes a wireless mouse will come with an installation cd that will assist you in the installation process.

I bought a Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks-V220 to replace my cordless Microsoft Mouse. The P/N is 630-000031 Rev.002, but it will not download it says it is already used?? How can I get it...

First U have to uninstall any programs installed by first mouse... control panel - add/remove programs.
Leave the new mouse attached.
Then U have to uninstall the old wireless mouse device...
control panel - system - hardware - devices
Reboot... when it detects the device, load the driver for the new mouse from the new mouse cd.
U can load any programs U want from the new mouse cd after insuring the mouse works.
